Yolanda Johnson

Yolanda Johnson is an executive local government consultant with over twenty years of experience in human services across the non-profit, city, state, and federal government sectors. She specializes in developing strategies, strengthening staff competencies, and optimizing social services through a holistic approach to organizational development. Her mission is to help government agencies and community organizations maximize their impact on low- to moderate-income communities.

As the chief consultant at Family Matters Partnership, INC, Ms. Johnson has served in roles such as program and outreach coordinator, community manager, and executive operating facilitator for local government agencies and school systems. Her work spans public policy reform, economic empowerment, and generational wealth building.

• Economic Mobility & Wealth Building: Guided families and individuals toward generational wealth through financial literacy.
• Organizational Growth: Bolstered program support, facilitated successful mergers, and increased grant funding by more than 80%.
• Family Support Champion: Helped over 300 families create solid family plans, find stable/ permanent housing, advancing decision-making, engagement, and problem-solving.

  • In 2017, began leading strategic and operational projects in Hamilton County, TN.
  • In 2021, became Program Coordinator for a City in Fulton County, GA, where she quickly secured over $1 million in funding.
